Very entertaining!

I wanted to start walking through the forest singing the opening song to a musical when I heard this. But that's just me. I like the use of the Xylophone and the clarinet. Only problem I had was that it was a bit repetitive. Good work though.

Hades responds:

I agree on the fact that it gets slightly repetitive, but I thought that it would be entertaining enough for people to live with hearing it in the background of a game. The xylo was actually a hard choice, but the melody didn't exactly sound right for any other instrument. Anyway, thanks for reviewing!

Not a big hiphop fan

But I can appreciate an artist who utilizes everything available to him to make his sound, sound good. I would definitely throw this on my cruizin CD. Keep up the good work! 10/10 5/5 and fav'd.

thanks man appreciate the review, most people that aint heavily into hip hop jus leave useless reviews

keep chekkin me out man -1-

It's a start, but a good one.

lol, finish it! I want to hear the rest. I like it, but the one thing I would take out is the tambourine. It's not following the tempo very well. I just think you could find a better countdown song. Anyway, kudos and good luck!

Ooooh, very trancy

Wow, one of the better submissions on NG I must say. The Piano is awesome and the abiance behind it just gives it that much more meaning and depth. The mixing process must've taken you quite a while to get perfect, I have no complaints. The one thing I would like to point out is that it is way too short. The ending left me wanting more. Other than that I love it and am tagging it onto my favs. Thanks for submitting this.

awesome, glad to hear you liked it. Thanks for the review :D

You get an F

For FANTASTIC! I love the originality of this song! And the memories this brings back...Two thumbs way way up my friend. Awesome tune. I really want to turn this into a metal song though. The Triplets you used for the melody would be perfect for metal. Thank you for submitting this. I added this to my favs so fast I forgot how to.

Climax?

Hmm, the pre-chorus was a little too long for my taste and I was left wanting more by the time the song ended, I didn't get that huge BANG after the snare build up. Also at 1:15 I didn't much care for the stops. I'm sorry if this sounded like a put down review, it's just my feelings.

ShinRok responds:

I dont mind man, its just a demo after all thanks for the review

Home grown?

So, I am convinced that you played the guitars and sang yourself, but did you use a drum machine? The levels could use some work. The voice overpowers the rest of the music so it's hard for me to know exactly what you're playing especially at the end of the song when it sounds like there is a lead riff happening. Other than that, good stuff. If you get some free time, check out "From Inside" on my page. I would really appreciate your view on it.

sqykly responds:

I did play all the guitars and bass and I did the vocals as well. I charted the drums using FruityLoops, mostly standard samples. I did have a lot of difficulty making everything audible on both headphones and speakers. It sounded good on my headphones, as well as on my neighbor's speakers, but the vocals and rhythm guitar were a little much in my car stereo. For an optimal listening experience, use headphones, I'd say.

There are actually three guitar tracks going on toward the end, but the lead-y sounding ones are doing background type things.

Thanks a million for the review!

Excellent!

I felt very alone in a giant factory awaiting to defend myself against Zombies...Why these feelings? I don't know. But I very much enjoyed listening to this. I've always had a thing for industrial sounding techno/trance/house (whatever you prefer), and this one has been added to my favs. Very good work!

snayk responds:

Cool. I'm glad you liked it!

Thanks a lot for the review.

Very good

Boy, listening to your work sure does bring me back to the drawing board with my stuff. Again very good mix, and the balance of the instruments is very well worked. I enjoyed this a lot, will more than likely be putting this on a CD I can drive to.

Rawmin responds:

Thanks for the review! As you can tell, I reviewed you song, from inside.

Lol, my avatar is your initials!?!?!

Very good.

Audio quality is superb and I'm loving the vocals. I haven't heard the original mix of this song but I'm sure your re-mix will make the original composer jealous. Good work!

Rawmin responds:

once again, thanks for the review! Glad you liked it!

Well I'm a graduate of the Ohio Center for Broadcasting and I hated it there. I learned most about what I do (Video) from the Medina County JVS in Ohio. I have a degree in Multi-Media and Digital Design, as well as Video Engineering. I play the drums.
